New testimony from U.S. Secret Service officials confirms the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, according to which former President Donald Trump demanded a raid on the Capitol on January 6 last year, a day of riots on Capitol Hill, CNN reported today (Saturday).

Sources even noted that Trump resisted and struggled when they refused this instruction.

According to Hutchinson, who was the assistant to Trump's chief of staff at the time, Trump traveled with his staff in the presidential limousine, trying to persuade him to join his supporters in the Capitol Hill riots.

The descriptions of those sources about the confrontation that took place in the vehicle following the same demand of the then president include details that are quite similar to this testimony of Hutchinson.

One source described Trump as "demanding", who spoke rudely when things were not done as he demanded.

Among other things, one source said that Trump said: "I am the fucking president of the United States, you can not tell me what to do."

Unlike Hutchinson's testimony, which said she heard Trump try to strangle the driver when he disobeyed his order, officials said, "he kind of jumped forward. It wasn't clear if he really made physical contact, but he might have done it."

One source noted that no one said Trump attacked the driver, but simply jumped on the seat, it is not clear for what reason.
