Hundreds of demonstrators gathered last night (Saturday) in Habima Square in Tel Aviv in protest against housing prices.

The demonstrators arrived holding signs and read, among other things, "We are the market, we are the power," "If you want a home - this is not a legend" and "Housing is a basic right."

Activists of Standing Together, MKI Hadash, and the organizers of the demonstration participated in the protest.

"Our insane costs of renting or buying a house and the frustration of having the capitalists celebrating others took us out of the house," said Hila Julius, who arrived with her partner and two children from Karkur.

"We need more supervision, more opportunities for the middle class. The state wins, the contractor wins, the landlord wins and the buyer is left with nothing. We missed the opportunity to buy a house and we have no opportunity to fill the gaps."

"We work very hard and can not exist in the country in a dignified manner, go to the writer and go out with huge sums. The feeling is that there is no hope and no future, and that if we do not demonstrate the situation will continue, politicians and activists will continue on their own. .
