Under the title “Before and After,” an exhibition for the wounded, Nassim Ibrahim and Ali Barhoum, was opened today at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushouh, the Chairman of the Joint Committee of the Wounded Home Project, General Mahmoud Al-Shawa, and the Governor of Damascus, Engineer Adel Al-Olabi, will continue for 3 days.
The Wounded Home Project explained on its Facebook page that the exhibition includes 34 different paintings of the two wounded, each carrying a message, value and a lesson on how they were able to transfer their talent to higher levels through training and with the help of Adonia Art Gallery, and how both of them moved from the stage of hobby to the stage of the talented creator.
Many of the wounded in the homeland follow different paths in developing their talents and skills, and the “Jareeh Al Watan” project accompanies them in these paths and provides them with the necessary support to develop and invest them in professional and practical life, in addition to enhancing their participation in society in cooperation with several governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions.
