19 people were killed and 12 others were injured when a passenger bus fell into a deep valley in Balochistan province, southwest Pakistan.
The Associated Press quoted Mehtab Shah, assistant to the Shirani district in the province, as saying today that a passenger bus carrying 35 people skidded on a mountain road in the area and fell into a deep valley after the driver lost control of it in heavy rain, killing 19 people and injuring 12 others.
Shah indicated that the rescue teams rushed to the scene and began search and rescue operations and retrieve the bodies.
Last Wednesday, five people were killed and two others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a coach in Punjab province, east Pakistan.
