Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla regularly complete appointments in the service of the crown.

They also didn't want to miss the world premiere of the last James Bond film - whatever the cost.

Her appearance in London devoured several thousand euros.

London – When Buckingham Palace gives an insight into its finances, heated discussions are not long in coming.

Also this year the report of the royal family is full of interesting and surprising details.

For example, Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (74) let their love for James Bond films cost a lot.

A short flight with a big bill: Charles and Camilla come to London for James Bond

For cinema tickets you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket, but a five-digit bill only comes about in royal circles.

In September 2021, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla flew from Aberdeen to London and back for the world premiere of the new James Bond film No Time To Die – what was actually a short trip for a hefty sum.

As a look at the travel expenses listed in the report reveals, 32,000 pounds, the equivalent of around 37,000 euros, were due for the charter flights of the heir to the throne from Scotland to England.

In addition to attending the cinema premiere, Charles and Camilla also made a detour to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

It gets even more expensive: Prince Charles didn't spend the most money

Some compatriots are upset that the royal visit to the cinema is so expensive.

Graham Smith, head of Britain's anti-monarchy organization Republic, vented his anger to the Express: "It's possible that Prince Charles showed up with big bags of popcorn, but even that would struggle to foot the bill drive up to 32,000 pounds.

It's scandalous."

First place for the most expensive trip goes to Prince Charles' eldest son.

The controversial Caribbean trip by Prince William (40) and Kate Middleton (40) to the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II (96) cost around 260,000 euros.
