Daraa City Council called on butchers to obtain a temporary slaughter license before the blessed Eid al-Adha.
The head of Daraa City Council, Engineer Amin Al-Omari, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the purpose of requiring butchers to adhere to health conditions and the public hygiene law is to preserve the city’s aesthetic view while staving off diseases and odors caused by indiscriminate slaughter, adding that the Health Affairs Department will follow up on slaughtering operations and placing the waste in prepared bags. For this purpose in order to deport them to the places designated for them.
Al-Omari indicated that the council’s cadres will make the tours during the Eid period, and the seizures will be organized in accordance with the legal principles and regulations in force, especially those who slaughter outside the licensed places.
