The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today (Sunday) convicted Eliezer Dalal, one of the owners of the "Sobel" pizzeria, of committing indecent acts on three complainants, two of whom were minors at the time of the incident.

The court's decision states that during the complainants' stay in the pizzeria, Dalal committed indecent acts on them and did not stop - even after expressing his disapproval of the acts and their desire to leave.

The indictment against Dalal was filed in 2019 by the Tel Aviv-Criminal District Attorney's Office, in which it was alleged that he approached the complainants, began talking to them, and offered them to enter his pizzeria.

"Along with my unmediated impression and the reliability and authenticity of the complainants 'version and the evidence that supports it, in terms of the complainants' version, it also appears that there is a great and prominent resemblance between the defendant's actions described by each of them," said Judge Dana Amir.

The judge accepted the position of the prosecution.

This is how the complainants all passed near the pizzeria - where Dalal commented to them regarding their self-confidence in order to attract attention - and as a result they entered the pizzeria with him.

"During the meeting at the pizzeria, the defendant began to touch the complainants by way of a massage," Amir wrote.

"After expressing opposition to his actions and reflecting in his face that the touch was unpleasant to them, the defendant walked away and cut off contact, but then again touched the complainants over their clothes, chest, abdomen and buttocks several times and rubbed them with his penis."

The judge added in her decision that Dalal told two complainants not to tell anyone about it.

In its decision, Amir accepted the prosecution's position while rejecting Dalal's claims - which he claimed, among other things, that someone was "building a red cap for him" and that they would have failed in the investigation.
