Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that London is trying to find pretexts to bring its fleet into the Black Sea to oversee all grain transfers from the ports mined by Ukraine.
In an interview today on “Russia 1” channel, Lavrov said: The food crisis is being used for a variety of purposes, not just for propaganda, to whitewash Ukraine and hold Russia responsible for everything.
He added: "If you listen, for example, to the statements of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace, it becomes clear that they are trying to create the conditions and create pretexts for the Royal Navy to infiltrate the Black Sea and start managing all the grain transfers from those Ukrainian-mined ports that they have to dismantle. The United Nations has repeatedly warned of the danger of a food crisis in the world due to the lack of grain, and the West accused Russia of obstructing the supply of Ukrainian grain shipments to world markets, while Moscow categorically rejects such accusations.
