Missing in Harburg: 83-year-old disappears
His disappearance was noticed at 6 p.m. that same evening, the police launched a large-scale search operation.
The police searched the area around his home with sniffer dogs.
One of the so-called mantrailer dogs also picked up a trail – which, however, ended at a bus stop.
The police now assume that the missing person got on a bus to visit acquaintances in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg.
However, it cannot be ruled out that the 83-year-old is still walking in the area around Nenndorf.
In addition to the mug shot, the Harburg police published a description of the person:
Height: About 175cm
Build: slim
Hairstyle: Bald and gray hair
Clothing: Blue jeans, light shirt and light sneakers
