… In recent days, Pap Ndiaye's public activity has decided with the discretion he has observed since his surprise appointment as head of the Ministry of National Education and Youth, at the end of May.
On June 27, he sent a missive to teachers, in which he sets out the five axes of his Rue de Grenelle action: the fight against social inequalities, the emphasis on fundamental knowledge, the well-being of students, the ecological question and the revaluation of the teaching profession.
“We must therefore wait for the end of the (long…) letter from the minister to the teachers to see the word revaluation … as the last act”
, reacted Sophie Vénétitay, general secretary of the National Union of Secondary School Teachers (Snes). However, she continues,
“for the Snes-Fsu, this is the priority: faced with the recruitment crisis, strong measures are needed to increase salaries without compensation!”
