Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov considered that the West is betting today on the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine under the leadership of the United States and does not allow Ukrainians even to think or talk about peace.
"Currently, Western countries are betting strongly on the continuation of the war, and this means that these countries, led by Washington, do not allow the Ukrainians to think, talk about or search for peace," Peskov said in a statement today to Russia 1 channel.
