Ricky Martin is once again in the spotlight and is involved in a delicate situation.
The 50-year-old Puerto Rican singer has been denounced for domestic violence, according to the EFE agency.
The Puerto Rico Police confirmed this Saturday that they are in the process of managing a protection order issued against the artist for a complaint under Law 54, which protects this type of victim on the Caribbean island.
Some allegations that have already been answered by his legal team, which has described them as "completely false".
The order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell, of the Court of First Instance of San Juan, following a request from someone whose identity has not been revealed as it is a case under the Law for the Prevention and Intervention with Domestic Violence. , according to the statement issued by the police to which EFE has had access.
The order was signed last Friday, and authorities visited a luxury neighborhood in Dorado, a city on the north coast of the island where the singer lives, to try to enforce the order, police spokesman Axel said. Valencia, to the Associated Press agency.

For its part, Ricky Martin's legal team assures that the allegations of domestic violence against the artist are "completely false," according to the statement released by Perfect Partners, the singer's public relations firm in Puerto Rico.
