Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has advised citizens to exercise restraint when consuming cannabis - especially with a view to the planned legalization of the intoxicating substance.
He counts himself among those "who don't think it's good if you use it a lot," said Scholz on Sunday on ARD, referring to cannabis use.
His government has already begun to legally implement the legalization agreed in the coalition agreement.

"Everyone wants us to organize relaxation here," said the Chancellor.
He did not want to give a date for implementation - but the project should not be implemented until the end of the legislative period.
The legalization of cannabis is “already quite a complex process from a legal and health policy perspective,” said the Chancellor.
"It's not done in one stroke."
