A group of Israeli passengers returning from France visited the website of Transnavia, a subsidiary of Air France, in order to check in before the flight from Paris to Israel.
While trying to check in online, they say they discovered that Israel was not on the list.
According to them, they tried to find Israel in several ways, but Israel was not on the list and it was not possible to check in.
When they continued to search for Israel in the list of countries, they found Palestine there.
In a conversation with Chai Lugsi and Eyal Fishov, they tell about the case: "We tried to find Israel and check in in advance but we did not find, we did not really understand why and after trying to check several times why Israel is not on the list, we actually found Palestine, it's just delusional.

"In the end we did not check in because none of us came from Palestine, was not born in this place and do not remember that there is such a country. Because we did not check in because Israel is not on the list of the French airline, we could not sit where we were "We are supposed to sit and move us to other seats, but it is less terrible for us, what is terrible is that all the countries of the world were on this list, including Iran and Iraq, but Israel did not," the two concluded in a conversation with "Israel Today."
A few weeks ago, we published in "Israel Today" about another unclear conduct of the Transavia company, when quite a few passengers who wanted to board a flight to Israel received a message from them actually boarding the plane, that the State of Israel does not allow them to fly to Israel.
The confused passengers tried to get plane tickets for other flights, some were delayed for several days in Paris and all this happened, while the Israeli embassy in France, the Foreign Ministry and the Population Authority did not recognize such a restriction.
In recent days some of the passengers have been contacted by the airline which has admitted that it is a computer malfunction and they apologize for the inconvenience.
Transavia and Air France declined to comment.
