A day after learning of a deadly shark attack that resulted in the death of an Australian citizen living in Egypt, authorities in the country updated that the remains of another woman, a Romanian citizen, had been discovered.
The attacks, both of which apparently took place on Saturday, were on the beaches of the resort town of Hurghada, one of the favorite places for European tourists on the Red Sea coast, a flight of about an hour from the capital Cairo.

Sources in the Egyptian government said the Romanian tourist was in her 40s, and her body was discovered a few hours after the Australian's death and about 650 meters from the first attack.
The Australian, who lived in Egypt with her Egyptian husband, was seriously injured and tried to revive her, but she died at the hospital.
At the same time, there were serious allegations that the rescuers did not feel for her help and perhaps could have provided her with help more quickly.
