The Maritime Search and Rescue Center in south China's Guangdong Province announced today that 12 bodies of the victims of the sinking of a floating crane in the waters as a result of a strong tropical storm and strong waves have been found.
Yesterday, Xinhua news agency quoted the center as saying that the storm "Chaba" caused the sinking of a floating crane off Guangdong Province yesterday, after it broke its mooring chain, which led to the loss of 27 people in the water, and 12 bodies were found as of this afternoon.
Seven planes, 246 ships and 498 fishing boats were mobilized to carry out searches for the missing.
