A psychological support initiative for students of the experimental curriculum B in Homs

In order to create an atmosphere of entertainment, play and explore the talents of the students of the Experimental Curriculum B launched by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with UNICEF, the Directorate of Education in Homs implemented a “psychological support initiative” for these students in Abdul Basit Al-Akari School, which included many sports and artistic activities.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Walid Marei stressed the importance of the psychological support activity that was carried out for the students to encourage them to continue their learning through the many recreational activities in which they participated, pointing out that these activities form part of the experimental curriculum B because the curriculum includes life skills and interactive activities, knowing that the curriculum includes life skills and interactive activities. Focusing on building and strengthening their personality and self-confidence to provide the opportunity for all children to learn and to compensate for the educational loss of those who were late and were unable to complete their education as a result of the war on Syria.

The Supervisor of Compulsory Education in the Tenth District, Adnan Yazbek, indicated that the initiative constitutes an important station for the students within the summer recreational activities with the aim of attracting them to continue their education through games and competitions, especially since the children have talents that they express through this initiative, which will continue and later include the drawing initiative, pointing to the participation of students Curriculum B in art exhibitions and wall magazines in their school, which confirms that their abilities to learn, understand and create are high.

The principal of the school, Nisreen Al-Kurdi, indicated that the students interacted greatly with this initiative, which developed their life abilities and knowledge, as they carried out activities, including balloon games, water balls and football, noting that recreational activities continue in parallel with the continuation of the teaching and educational process for students during the summer.
