Accident on the B11 at night - six people injured

The BMW of a 43-year-old woman from Geretsried was completely destroyed in an accident on Sunday evening on the B11.

An accident between Geretsried and Wolfratshausen caused massive property damage.
A traffic light was torn from its anchorage and two cars were towed away.
Geretsried – Six people were injured in a traffic accident on the B 11 at the junction to Gelting on Sunday evening.
The property damage is likely to be around 60,000 euros.
BMW overlooked: Accident on the B11 near Gelting - six people injured
At around 10:15 p.m., an 81-year-old woman from Gelting first drove on the B11 in the direction of Wolfratshausen and then turned left in the direction of Gelting.
According to the police, she overlooked a 43-year-old woman from Geretsried who was driving a BMW on the B11 in the direction of Geretsried.
Both cars collided in the middle of the intersection.
As a result of the violent impact, the 43-year-old's car slammed into a traffic light and ripped it out of its anchorage.
Traffic accident between Wolfratshausen and Geretsried: six injured, 60,000 euros in property damage
The 81-year-old woman and her 83-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries, as did the 43-year-old woman from Geretsried and her three passengers.
All six were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment.
The two cars were no longer drivable and had to be towed away.
During the police investigation of the accident, the B11 was completely closed for about two hours.
