Warngau
– As reported by the police, there was a traffic hazard on Sunday evening on the main road between Gmund and Holzkirchen due to an extremely risky overtaking maneuver.
The police are investigating the driver of a black BMW with a Munich number plate and are looking for witnesses.
At around 7:05 p.m., a 42-year-old from Warngau drove his silver-colored Citroen motorhome on the B318 from Gmund towards Holzkirchen.
The black BMW initially drove behind him.
Shortly before Warngau, according to the police report, the driver started to overtake at high speed and despite oncoming traffic.
The BMW overtook the camper, cut back just before the Warngau exit and cut the camper driver.
The Warngauer was therefore only able to prevent a collision by braking his mobile home sharply and swerving to the right.
Fortunately, none of the occupants of the camper were injured during this risky overtaking maneuver.
The BMW continued in the direction of Holzkirchen and the A8 motorway.
The police have information about the number plate.
She has started investigations against the driver of the black BMW for endangering road traffic.
In order to clarify exactly what happened, the police are asking witnesses to the incident to call 08024/90740.
