Ben Gvir to his associates: "I will not wait for Smutrich until after the primaries" Israel today

Chairman of Jewish Power wants to immediately close the run with religious Zionism and will demand a full Rich on the list • Smutrich wants unity, but he also has advantages in a separate run

Negotiations between the Religious Zionist Party and Jewish Power have not yet begun.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Jewish Power, MK Itamar Ben Gvir, said in closed talks: "I think we should negotiate now and close a partnership. I am not prepared to wait until after Smutrich's primaries."

Ben Gvir is currently meeting with professors, rabbis and public figures to build his list for the Knesset.

There is no doubt that the two intend to run together, and Smutrich and Ben Gvir say out loud in the media that the partnership between them has proven itself and that they want to continue together in the next Knesset as well.

However, it seems that negotiations between the two are not expected to be easy.

In Jewish power, the internal polls see the growth of the party, and the demands for it are accordingly.

Ben Gvir has stated that he does not want to take second place for Smutrich's faction, but he is expected to demand from him a full Richard in the places on the list, as well as an equal division in the apparatus and positions after the election.

Ben Gvir's demand is based, as stated, on his growth in the polls, as well as on the general public of Jewish power.

The starting point in Ben Gvir's party is that even in a separate run, they pass the blocking percentage, but as stated, they turn to the partnership.

On the other hand, it is not certain that Smutrich will agree to accept these demands of Ben Gvir.

The chairman of Religious Zionism is holding primaries in his party, a move in which a lot of time has been invested, and it does not seem that after that they will be happy to name Richard in places at the expense of the Knesset members elected in the primaries.

On top of that, Smutrich is not afraid of a separate wheelbarrow.

It rests on a permanent base of classical and Torah religious Zionism.

If Ben Gvir runs alone, Smutrich will not have to absorb the attempt to delegitimize the left to Jewish power, and will also be able to gain the votes of a moderate and liberal religious Zionist who does not vote for him when he runs with Ben Gvir.

Also, if the two run separately, after the election Smutrich will be able to enter the coalition even if there is opposition within Ben Gvir.

At the same time, the Noam Party also wants a place on a unified list of religious Zionism.

Noam's electoral value is not high enough, but the party has many field activists raising its share in negotiations.
