Repairing the burst water pipe in Schäftlarn is quite difficult.
Because in the area there are power cables in the ground.
Schäftlarn
– Christian Lankes (Greens) in the Schäftlarn works committee has now thought about possible legal disputes.
During the laying of a fiber optic cable, the sewer was destroyed at a depth of four meters.
"We then had to have it vacuumed several times," says the manager of the municipal works, Kilian Streidl.
"Until we managed to install a temporary pipe."
Hopefully the community will not be left at the expense
However, the damage cannot be repaired simply because there are power cables in this area that need to be replaced.
"I'm assuming," says Lankes, "that with all these measures, 100,000 euros will literally flow through the canal.
Was there an appraiser on site?
Not that we end up bearing the costs.”
Mayor has sought the conversation with the German fiber optics
Mayor Christian Fürst said no.
“We have already talked to the German fiber optics.
In any case, the fact is that we will pass on the bill to you, which you will probably pass on to the construction company that caused the damage.” In addition, you can prove that the flushing bore is to blame for the current situation.
"There was a camera inspection, everything is logged," Streidl joined the discussion.
The glass fiber itself will be on site when the excavators arrive on Monday next week.
"Because if everything is already open," says Fürst, "you can also carry out your work right away."
One-week construction project
During the week-long construction project, Starnberger Strasse will be closed on one side and can only be used like a one-way street in the direction of the motorway.
Bahnhofstrasse will be completely closed, traffic will then run via Maubergerstrasse and An der Leiten.
"During this period, the marketplace will be open for the adjacent shops," promises Fürst.
"Except on Thursdays when the market is on, it can then be used as a customer parking lot."
Because of the burst pipe
At the sewer, Starnberger Straße in Schäftlarn will be closed on one side in the direction of Wangen (uphill) from July 4th until July 8th, 2022 at the latest.
Traffic coming from the B 11 is driving through the construction site.
Traffic coming from Wangen (downhill) is diverted via the second level crossing south of Starnberger Straße (Fischerschlösslstraße) to Zechstraße and from there to the B 11.
The bus and school bus stops will also be relocated during this time and the following replacement stops will be set up: In the direction of Kloster, a replacement stop will be set up on the detour route before the small level crossing, in the direction of Wangen.
Please note the MVV information at the bus stops.
