The prosecutor's office filed an indictment today (Monday) against Herzl Shamami (70) from Hadera for weapons offenses.
This was after he provided the weapon used in the murder of the late Yosef Yosefia.
The indictment states that the defendant provided AA (the suspect in the murder of Josephia) with a gun and ammunition.
Near the time of his meeting with the defendant, AA shot the late Yosef Yosefia to death using the gun and armament that the defendant provided into his hands.
In his arrest request, the prosecution noted: "His actions indicate the risk posed to public safety in general, when he provided a gun that is not listed in the databases and its source is unknown, including a cartridge containing bullets and a box containing 38 additional gun bullets, which were used to kill a person.
