With the participation of (14) contestants, the Aleppo branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union held a competition for creativity and invention in the Nablus Hall in the city of Aleppo, which included various inventions in several fields, including engineering and the electron.

Basil Jawhar, a member of the Youth Branch leadership and head of the Informatics Office, explained to SANA reporter the importance of this competition to see the creativity and inventions of the participants to select (9) winners for the competition at the country level, indicating that the participating works will be evaluated according to scientific principles and rules by a specialized jury.

Dr. Khair al-Din Tarsha Kurdi, a member of the jury and a professor at the Faculty of Mechanics at Aleppo University, pointed out that the evaluation of the participating works is carried out through fixed criteria based on novelty and modernity, according to the innovative step and its ability to develop, explaining that the aim of such competitions is to discover and nurture the creative cases of students.

Dr. Abdul-Qader Jokhdar, a member of the jury and a professor at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Department of Intelligent Control Systems, pointed out the importance of focusing on the goal of the competing projects, especially that the participants’ innovations are at a high level of creativity and technology and seek to save and preserve the environment.

Jack Morgana, one of the participants in the competition, talked about his project, which is a smart firefighting vehicle that was designed and programmed to go to the fire place on its own.

Without human intervention to put out the fire through sensors in addition to a pump and some electronic tools, indicating that the project's goal is to reduce human and material losses and preserve the safety of firefighters and residents, while his colleague George Armenak indicated that the idea of ​​the project can be developed in the future to stave off fire danger and reduce losses.

Salim Mardley talked about his participation in the invention of an electricity generator that works with hydrogen fuel disintegrated from water to convert it into steam that moves a gear turbine to generate electrical energy estimated at 12 volts, and in the future it can be developed to become 220 volts, with the aim of providing electricity free of charge and preserving the environment for the absence of gases such as mono or dual harmful carbon dioxide.
