Daraa Health Directorate has taken several measures to secure health and treatment services for citizens during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The Director of Health, Dr. Ashraf Barmo, told SANA reporter that the necessary measures were taken to ensure the workflow in all hospital departments 24 hours a day during the Eid holiday and to organize shifts to achieve coverage of all sick cases with the necessary medical services, with the availability of all ambulance requirements, including equipment, medicines, medical, technical and nursing staff. .
Dr. Barmo indicated that the directorate has appointed an epidemiological investigation team from the Department of Communicable and Chronic Diseases to work in an organized manner during the Eid period and monitor restaurants, hotels, cafes, food factories and restrooms on public roads to ensure that health conditions are met, the safety of workers, their possession of the necessary health cards and their adherence to the health rules regulating the process of providing food and beverages. In addition to monitoring street vendors, preventing them from serving open food, and monitoring drinking water daily to ensure its safety.
He pointed out that the Directorate is working with Daraa Governorate to take the necessary measures with regard to the safety of children, including not using harmful toys and firecrackers because of their danger to public health, and preventing riding on dangerous horses, trucks and swings.
