The testimony may reveal the way the gifts were delivered • Shai Haik, Netanyahu's political spokesman: "I felt that Sarah and Yair Netanyahu were advising salvation"

Dramatic day in Netanyahu's cases:

Hadas Klein, who was Arnon Milchen's assistant, is expected to go to the witness stand today and testify in case 1000 - the "gift case", in which Netanyahu is accused of fraud and breach of trust.

According to the indictment, Milchen handed the Netanyahu couple various gifts in the form of champagne, cigars and valuable jewelry.

Klein is a key witness in the case and is supposed to lay the evidentiary infrastructure of the case, which will be completed through additional witnesses who will testify about the subject of the gifts from different angles.

Klein is the first witness from the second group of witnesses linked to the 1000 case. The role of this group is to reveal the supply line of gifts transferred from Milchen at the request of the Netanyahu couple.

It is estimated that it will take three days for Klein to be questioned by the prosecution, and another ten days for her cross-examination by Adv. Amit Hadad, who represents Netanyahu.

Last Sukkot, Klein contacted the authorities, claiming that she had information about three other pieces of jewelry she allegedly received from Sarah Netanyahu.

Since the trial had already begun, the jewels in question were not added to the indictment, but the court approved the addition of three witnesses who were not written in the original indictment - one of whom is Milchen's daughter.

Their meaning is an evidential reinforcement of the gift story, on which Klein will expand.

The indictment alleges that Netanyahu and Milchen testified that there was friendship between them, which did not prevent Netanyahu from being involved in Milchen's affairs and making governmental decisions regarding him.

"Salvation received preferential treatment"

Yesterday, Shai Haik, who was Netanyahu's political spokesman, was questioned as part of the 4000 case. In the open testimony given by the Securities Authority, Haik said: "I have no doubt that Ilan Yeshua received preferential treatment in certain areas of coverage, especially those related to Mrs. Netanyahu."

Interrogator: "How do you know that Sarah and Yair advise him?"

Haik: "I feel it in phrases I already know."

Investigator: "Did Yair Netanyahu deal with things related to the media?"

Haik: "Especially in elections. Suggestions on how to write, strategy."
