Drunk driver, hit and ran: A young man from Rahat was accused of trampling to death the death of police volunteer Amichai Carmeli
Rani Alkamlat, 28, from Rahat, is accused of driving while intoxicated and endangering a volunteer and two other police officers.
The defendant was also charged with aggravated intentional sabotage, endangering the lives of persons intentionally in a transportation lane and drunk driving.

The Central District Attorney's Office today (Monday) filed an indictment in court against 28-year-old Rani Alkamlat from Rahat for the indifferent murder of police volunteer Amichai Carmeli.
Alkamla is accused of driving while intoxicated dangerously and severely injuring a volunteer and two other police officers.
Also, the defendant was charged with aggravated intentional sabotage offenses;
Intentionally endangering the lives of people in the transport and drunk driving lane.
