A malfunction on a plane of the Polish airline "Lot" led to an emergency landing at Warsaw airport • Son of one of the passengers: "They were all taken off the plane, it was very stressful"

Lot's flight from Krakow to Tel Aviv landed tonight (Monday morning) in an emergency landing in Warsaw, shortly after takeoff from Krakow.

In a conversation with the son of one of the passengers, he tells Israel Today: "They were told that there was a fire in the back of the plane.

As they landed there were ambulances and fire engines, they say it was very stressful. '

'They got off the plane and under it was a big stain of liquid, looking like oil.

"Then they were all quickly taken off the plane, they were not allowed to take most of the equipment, only after a few hours and after they were closed with a tape around them, they were brought their personal equipment," continues the son of one of the passengers.

It is clear from the Lot company that shortly after take-off from Warsaw, a malfunction was discovered in the plane, which led to the emergency landing in Warsaw.

As a result, the flight from Israel that was supposed to take place on the same plane was canceled and the company added an evening flight, to which the passengers who were supposed to fly from Israel on the early flight will be transferred.

The passengers who were on the plane that landed in Warsaw are now waiting for a flight that is supposed to take them from there back to Israel.

The flight is expected to depart in the afternoon.
