Interior Minister and chairman of the New Right Ayelet Shaked did not want to reserve MK Nir Orbach in the first four places in the party, and offered him a lower place on the list for the election - Israel Today has learned.
Sources involved in the details said that "after the humiliating proposal to Orbach, there were talks with Shaked who claimed that she thought Orbach was armored in the Likud."
It should be noted that the two are expected to meet tonight (Monday) to discuss their political future.

As you may recall, Orbach resigned from the coalition last month, which led to a major appeal by the coalition, but then-Prime Minister Naftali Bennett finally overtook him and dissolved the Knesset, so the Likud must not give him armor on the party list for the upcoming elections.
However, in his role as chairman of the Knesset committee, Auerbach assisted the Likud in the process of dissolving the Knesset and halting "defendant's laws," so there are those in the party who want to arm him, but the issue has not yet been officially closed.
Shaked managed to stop the splits on the right yesterday so that all the party funding units remained with her, after Deputy Religious Minister Matan Kahana was unable to form a third of the faction to split up and receive the funding unit.
However, it is estimated that Kahana will in any case split from the right even without the funding unit in order to join one of the coalition parties that oppose the chairman of the opposition, MK Benjamin Netanyahu.

It is worth noting that in a poll conducted last night here 11, the right led by Shaked won only four seats.
Now, she is conducting a poll on the party she heads in order to make decisions after she gets the results.
