Broadcaster Natan Zehavi was suspended from Radio 103 until further notice.
Last night (Sunday), Radio 103 presenter Natan Zehavi published a Facebook post in which he longs for the burning of the Channel 14 studio on its occupants.
"I saw Channel 14 for half an hour, I wish the studio would burn on its occupants," said Zehavi.
Zahavi also repeated things on his radio show on 103 FM.
Channel 14 says that "during the morning, a number of threatening calls reached the channel's system, including graphic descriptions and words for the burning of the studio and physical harm to the workers' safety, apparently against the background of Zehavi's remarks."
Following this, the channel's CEO and the CBT decided to increase the protection of the compound, add an artificial intelligence system to the digital security system and tighten the procedures for entering the compound.
In addition, a representative of the channel filed a complaint with the Modiin police, against radio presenter Natan Zehavi for inciting violence.
Channel 14 CEO Itai Wellman: "It is very sad that in the State of Israel in 2022 there will be voices calling for people to be burned.
I expect all the media to condemn things. "
Radio 103 reported that this was a serious statement and that Zahavi had been suspended from broadcasting until further notice.
