Thousands protested in the city of Akron after a shocking case of police shooting of a young black man who was shot 60 times in all parts of his body after resisting arrest.
The shooting was recorded on the lapel camera of one of the policemen who took part in the shooting and the police were quick to claim that the suspect opened fire on the policemen, even though he was not armed at all.
Police said the killer, a 25-year-old named Jayland Walker, opened fire from his car window at police officers, and indeed a gun was found in his vehicle.
The suspect tried to escape in his vehicle and was apprehended by police after a chase of several minutes.
He escaped on foot from the police officers who thought he was armed.
He was eventually shot to death.

The victim's lawyer said at a news conference that he was "very concerned about the details revealed" and that "there is no reason to justify the violent death of Zealand".
"They're trying to turn him into a masked monster with a gun. I'm telling you, the man escaped for his life. Does it make sense to shoot him?" The lawyer wondered.
Following the young killing, a huge protest broke out in the city of Akron.
During Saturday, the protest remained largely silent and activists of the "Important Black Lives" movement waved signs and called for the budget budget to be abolished.
During the night, however, the protest escalated into violence.
Trucks parked in the streets to prevent traffic and block streets were smashed and set on fire and protesters hurled things at police, who responded by firing tear gas.
Senator Shrod Brown, a resident of Akron, said: "The death of Jayland Walker is a tragedy. The Walker judge and the entire Akron community demand a full and transparent investigation into why we are mourning the life of another young black man whose life was cut short. Blacks. "We were wrong?
