New World Group (0017) announced that it will optimize family-friendly measures, including the trial of "Summer Fridays", a 4.5-day work week and one-day work from home in summer (WFH), and a hybrid office model that allows employees to More flexibility in working time and location.

The Group hopes to enhance the well-being of its employees through such arrangements, so as to make them more motivated and efficient at work and achieve a win-win situation.

New World continued, according to the business nature and actual operation of each of its subsidiaries, it will implement "summer working days" in a number of suitable business units, including New World Development, K11, and NWS Head Office.

Relevant colleagues are entitled to a half-day holiday on Fridays, provided their salaries remain unchanged.

In addition, employees can work remotely one day a week.

In order to ensure that employees can maintain high efficiency at home, the Group will maintain close communication with employees and try their best to provide necessary technical and related support.

The above measures will be implemented on a trial basis in various business units within the Group from July to September this year, and will be reviewed later.

If there are individual colleagues in the relevant business units who are unable to enjoy "Summer Workdays" due to work relationships, the Group will make other suitable flexible arrangements for them to help colleagues achieve work-life balance.
