Assault on "Discounted Apartment": A
day and a half after it was launched, 52,000 people registered for the second lottery of "Discounted Apartment".
As part of the lottery that was launched yesterday (Sunday), 5,499 apartments are being drawn in 25 localities - data indicating that the chances of the registrants winning are particularly low.
Ramat Gan, Rosh HaAyin, Ashkelon, Netanya (Kiryat Nord) and Ashdod continue to lead in the table of the most sought-after cities, but the chances of winning them are only about 2% -3%, and are expected as more people register for the lottery.
In contrast, the highest chances of winning are in the localities of Araba and Kfar Bara - 64% and 66%, respectively.
Considering the fact that about 2,300 apartments are intended for "locals", ie for the residents of the localities where the lotteries take place, the chances become even lower.
According to data from the Ministry of Housing, out of about 52,000 households registered as of today, about 22.5 thousand are "locals."

It should be mentioned that registration for the lottery will close on July 17 at midnight, which is less than two weeks.
Eligible to register are all the homeless who have a valid certificate of eligibility.
By the end of the year, about 15,000 housing units will be raffled off in additional lotteries.
In the upcoming lotteries, the latest decision of the Rami Council (Israel Land Authority) on the issue will be implemented for the first time, according to which 35% of apartments in the center of the country will be allocated to locals in target price tenders. , And National Priority Area A will remain at 50% of all marketing.
As was the case in the previous lottery, those eligible can register for three cities and all the lotteries in those cities.
We will also emphasize that the date of registration for the lottery, which will be open to the eligible public for 14 days, is not important.
The lottery results are expected to be delivered to the winners in August.
