The FWG local association Otterfing trusts the previous chairman in terms of personnel.
In the recent elections, however, three members were elected to new positions, including two women.
Otterfing
– Josef Killer remains the figurehead of the Free Voters' Association (FWG) Otterfing.
At the association's recent ordinary general meeting, Killer was unanimously confirmed in his office as chairman and re-elected for a second term.
The FWG association in Otterfing has only existed since November 2019. In the run-up to the 2020 local elections, Killer left the old Free Voters group and showed solidarity with the line of the Free Voters party represented in the state parliament.
The association he launched split the free voters group in the community.
The old FW group has now differentiated itself from Killers FWG by renaming it “Freie Liste Otterfing” (FLO).
In the new elections of the FWG association, Maximilian Waibel was elected as the new deputy.
"A successful start to a motivated, imaginative future," said secretary Eva Nicola Stefan.
Since the association acts in a contemporary and future-oriented manner, the quota for women was also met in the board elections.
The two chairmen receive female support from the newly elected treasurer Silke Waibel and the new secretary Stefan.
"We strive to attract young people to local politics," the press release said.
In the 2020 local elections, Killer did not make it into the runoff as a mayoral candidate, which Michael Falkenhahn (SPD) won against Robert Schüßlbauer (CSU).
As the only FWG representative on the municipal council, Killer recently attracted attention with his criticism of the planned citizens' wind turbine in the Hofoldinger forest.
