- After a long period of pandemic, 2021 is marked by a rebound in service activities, which have continued to grow since 2017. How can this continuous increase be explained?

Laurent Nunez.

After a slight slowdown in 2020 linked to the health crisis, requests for the implementation of intelligence techniques have indeed increased by 10%, which brings us back to a level close to 2019. In 60% of cases, these are the least intrusive techniques such as access to connection data in deferred time, in particular to detailed invoices, or to identification elements.

The techniques are deployed only with the authorization of the Prime Minister after the prior opinion of the National Control Commission and their use is proportionate, to meet purposes aimed at protecting the fundamental interests of the nation.
