So far, the marketed quantities of wheat seed for the branch of the General Organization for Seed Propagation in Daraa have reached 7614 tons.
The director of the Seed Multiplication Branch, Eng. Samer Al-Zamil, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the marketing procedures are progressing at a good pace amid simplified procedures in terms of speedy receipt from contracted farmers and payment of the encouraging price by the state, indicating that the branch has a sufficient financial mass to disburse farmers’ dues through the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Bazara .
He added that in parallel with receiving the wheat, the Sifting and Sterilization Center is sifting and sterilizing the marketed wheat to protect it from insect infestations and store it in a way that ensures that the seeds are secured for farmers with the required specifications.
