The Lenggries mountain rescue team rescued a paraglider at Brauneck on Saturday afternoon.
Lenggries – A paraglider got into trouble on Brauneck on Saturday.
As Bergwacht press spokeswoman Lina Feile reports, the sports equipment of the 57-year-old Holzkirchner got caught in a steel cable in the Garland area, which is used for avalanche blasting in winter.
Climbers saw how the man got stuck in the rope at a height of about five meters and informed the mountain rescue service.
Together with comrades from Wolfratshausen and Munich, the volunteers were able to free Holzkirchner from his predicament.
The man was unharmed.
The cable car operation on the mountain was not affected either.
