After two long weeks of procrastination at the top of power, Emmanuel Macron and Élisabeth Borne have finally managed to compose a new government which draws - in the words of the Elysée - "the lessons of the legislative elections".

“It is the conclusion of fifteen days of discussions between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister to have a balanced government and with strong legitimacy”, supports an adviser to the executive.
