For his part, Shoigu explained that the operation to liberate Luhansk was successfully completed yesterday, as Lyschansk, the largest city in the republic, was liberated and an area of 670 square kilometers was liberated, pointing out that the Ukrainian forces had lost 54 fighters during the past two weeks, 196 tanks, 12 drones, 69 missile systems, rocket launchers and 166 artillery and mortars were destroyed. and about 216 different military vehicles.
Shoigu pointed out that the Russian forces are now clearing mines from the city of Lyschansk and providing humanitarian and medical aid to civilians.
