Former United States President Donald Trump has told associates that he hopes to launch a presidential campaign soon.

This is to benefit from President Joe Biden's relatively low support rate, to intimidate his potential rivals in the Republican Party and to regain control of his image in light of the damaging hearings of the commission investigating the attack on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, according to a report by CNN.

According to the report, the last hearing at which Trump's former assistant chief of staff, Cassidy Hutchinson, testified persuaded Trump to advance the announcement of the opening of an election campaign in November, when midterm elections will take place, as a form of damage control.

At the hearing, Hutchinson revealed previously uncovered details about the former president's behavior on the day of the attack that could even lead to a criminal indictment being filed against him by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Trump's allies have admitted that the hearings caused Trump more damage than expected, amid growing evidence from past advisers undermining his false claims about the 2020 election.

According to CNN, Trump advisers have recently contacted some of his allies close to him to let them know about the former president's intentions to advance the announcement of his candidacy in the 2024 election.

According to a source in the Republican Party, it is possible that the announcement will be published later this week.

Another source said Trump knows about his deal only after assuring himself of maximum media coverage beforehand.

Several sources have said that the atmosphere now around Trump is reminiscent of the atmosphere that prevailed before his 2016 election campaign - an atmosphere of disorganization and disorder and without a responsible figure.

"Every day it changes. We were told he was going to announce the deal very soon, and that afternoon it had already changed," one source told CNN.

A source close to Trump said the plan was to wait for Labor Day in September to announce the deal, but now that may happen again this month.

According to sources, Trump's mood ranges from concerns about investigations against him to a desire to "return fire."

Another reason Trump is announcing a 2024 confrontation soon is the fact that in the House of Commons inquiry into Jan. 6, there are no Republicans who support him.

"He knows that if he announces his candidacy, he will star in the headlines again," which will give him a chance to compete in the House of Commons' harmful hearings, one source said.

However, according to other sources, Trump's main motivation for announcing his candidacy soon is other possible Republican candidates in the 2024 election, including Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Rick Scott of Florida, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nicki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo "Trump wants to clear the field and warn other people against competing against him," said a source

Trump's next public appearance as part of the party's campaigns ahead of November is on July 9 at a rally by Kelly Shibaka, who hopes to be elected a Republican senator on behalf of the state of Alaska in November.

Sources close to the former president estimate that he will not announce a rally at the rally in 2024, but they did not rule out a spontaneous raid on his social network - Truth Social - that would announce this.
