Today, a round table was held in the Russian province of Tula, south of the capital, Moscow, within the framework of the 10th International Youth Industrial Forum entitled (Engineers of the Future: Syria and Russia from War to Peace).
The participants' speeches dealt with the issues of preparing foreign experts in Russian universities, the Russian efforts made for the future of Syria, international projects in the field of education and medicine, and plans related to prospects for cooperation with Damascus University.
Syria's Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Riad Haddad, referred in a speech to the Russian efforts exerted to help Syria build its future, reviewing some of the detailed facts that Syria experienced more than ten years ago, from a terrorist war supported by the West, led by the United States and its allies, and their role in harnessing terrorist groups to destabilize the region.
Haddad stressed that the war has not ended and that there are many areas that are permitted by terrorist organizations in which they are spread with unlimited protection and support from the Turkish occupation forces in northern Syria, also pointing out that the unjust Western sanctions on Syria are real economic terrorism that is increasing against it, especially after its position Supporting the legality of the Russian military operation aimed at protecting the Donbass population.
In addition to Ambassador Haddad, Director of the Scientific Research Institute in Moscow, Dr. Youssef Youssef participated in the work of the round table, and the President of Damascus University, Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, in addition to the Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Valkov, and the first deputy of the Russian Federation of Engineers of Machinery Industry, Chairman of the Industry Committee participated in it. And trade in the State Duma, Vladimir Gutenev, directors of some Russian machinery factories, a number of presidents of Russian universities, in addition to a representative of the Tula city governor.
