The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its military forces of the 12th Main Directorate began working around the clock at the newly created Main Geophysical Monitoring Center.
The directorate stated in a statement today that "on July 1, 2022, and in order to enhance the defense capacity of our country, the work shifts of the main geophysical monitoring center began to carry out its tasks around the clock."
The statement explained that modern algorithms for analyzing information and implemented technical solutions make it possible to process large amounts of heterogeneous information in the shortest possible time, record nuclear explosions in various geographical directions around the world, as well as identify the sources of geophysical disturbances resulting from human activity.
