What to look out for when vacationing with a dog in Germany

Holidaying

with a dog in Germany

has the advantage that the journey does not take too much time and dogs are also allowed on many beaches and in hotels.

It is important that you find out in advance whether the

dog

is allowed to be with you everywhere at the

travel destination

you have chosen  .

Also think about how you can get to your destination with your four-legged friend as stress-free as possible:

  • Taking a plane on holiday with a dog:

is flying with your dog an option or does it cause more stress for everyone involved?

Important questions should be clarified: Can the dog be taken into the cabin or does it have to be in the hold?

How big can the transport box be?

How much does a dog flight ticket cost?

  • Going on holiday with a dog by car:

How long should the car journey be so that the dog is not overwhelmed?

Schedule stops at rest stops to go for a walk and let him drink fresh water.

In addition, the dog must be strapped in with a harness provided for this purpose while driving.

  • Taking the train on holiday with your dog:

If you want to take the train with your four-legged friend, you should choose a time when the trains are not overcrowded.

Traveling by train can mean restlessness and fear for four-legged friends - as well as for fellow passengers who are afraid of dogs.

Things such as vaccinations for the dog and dog liability insurance should of course be up to date and therefore also be up to date for the holiday.

Then nothing should stand in the way of a successful summer holiday in 2022.
