The Syrian men's basketball team lost against its Iranian counterpart, 91-56 points, in its second match in the third window of the World Cup qualifiers, in the match that was held this evening at the Hamdaniya Hall in Aleppo.
The Iranian team advanced in the first quarter by 8-22 points, and the first half ended with the Iranian team advancing 39-28, before deciding the match in its favour, with a score of 56-91 points.
Our team opened this window by losing to Bahrain, 76-67 points.
Our team had lost against its Iranian counterpart with a score of 80-68 points during their meeting in Iran in the second window, which it opened by defeating its Bahraini counterpart with a score of 80-64 points in their match in Bahrain.
It is noteworthy that our team lost in the first window twice against its first Kazakh counterpart, with a score of 74-84 points, during their meeting in the Kazakh capital, Nur Sultan, and the second, with a score of 71-81 points, when they met in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus.
