While the “Dôme des bords de Marne” residence is to accommodate 158 apartments at the corner of rue Verdun and rue du Marché, it will be made up of shops, in particular a 2,500 m² Monoprix, and services such as a veterinary practice.
And even before the construction, "everything was sold", according to the architect who concludes with "a great success".
A finding that delights the mayor: "40 buyers go to the notary this week".
This new complex will be accompanied by a public car park with 168 spaces and another private car park with 197 spaces.
The project is combined with the development of a new media library "a necessity", according to the mayor.
The old one will give way, with the old Monoprix, to a gourmet hall.
All this, by promoting “pedestrianization and facilitating traffic”, insists Laurent Jeanne.

For Arif Hiridjee, president of the Dynamic Enterprises Association of Champigny, the project will allow the city to become “the new flagship of eastern Paris”.
Close to the banks of the Marne and the Tremblay and Plateau parks, the new city center will allow its inhabitants to stroll through the streets and the curious to discover "a dynamic city", he insists.
