The participants in Ibdaa 8 bazaar in Homs displayed over four continuous days their works, handicrafts and various projects that they made with passion, mastery and extreme precision.

The exhibition, which was held in the Eiffel Hall on Hamra Street, included a variety of handicrafts from soap making, perfumes, home food, crochet handicrafts, ornamental plants, candles and wood.

Ghazal Tarsha, the contributor to organizing the exhibition, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that sixty participants are participating in the bazaar, and most of them are women and young women, with the aim of supporting small, unknown local handicrafts, supporting female workers in their homes, and gathering them in one place to market their products until trade exchange takes place.

Nagham Rostom participated in a wide range of her works in the manufacture of candles, medical soap, perfumes and various oils, indicating that this bazaar is an advertisement for her project and a step to publicize it.

In turn, Sahar Zakaria, who works in the art of origami, showed that this art is scarce in the city of Homs, and she wanted, through her participation in many of her works, to introduce it and her works, explaining that this work requires mastery and manual work and requires high effort. During my work in the manual field, I sell and when organizing any bazaar I participate in, which prompted me to participate in order to introduce my products and meet new people and customers.”

Haneen Kassibi indicated that she launched her project via the Internet, Instagram, about a year ago, and it is in the field of handicrafts and targets young women by displaying all they need, while Ghassan Khairallah indicated that his participation in the exhibition is within a section of the various oriental materials made of copper and antiques, including swimming pools, oriental glass, and Aghabani within Unique pieces and masterpieces.

Eng. Enaam Hammoudi noted that her project for the manufacture of traditional jewelry and jewelry in Syria focuses mainly on the jewelry industry in the Syrian coast, and she received the Al-Basel Award for Creativity in 2017, noting that she came from Tartous to participate with the aim of highlighting the important legacy of the civilization of the Syrian coast in this field and the use of new technologies in her project In addition to handmade glass to be used in the jewelry industry.

Abdullah Tulaimat participates through many handmade products of spices, spices, dates with nuts, various sweets, homemade thyme and many other things, indicating that his participation aims to market his products.
