Homs-Sana

The poems of the poets of the Al-Bayariq Cultural Forum today, which was hosted by the Sami Al-Droubi Hall at the Arab Cultural Center in Homs, varied between love of the homeland, deception and conscience.

The meeting began with the poet Suleiman Shaheen with a patriotic poem (Majd al-Sham) dedicated to Damascus, crowned with the glories of history and crowned with laurel.

The poet Zainab Nofal addressed the founder of Al-Multaqa Al-Habib Bogdania Ghazli (The Master of Crafts) and recited the poem (Golan Al-Sham), which filled with feelings of pride and pride in his Syrian Arab identity, no matter how long the occupation lasts.

And the sound of spinning rose in my poems (In the vineyards of conscience) and (Misrak Ward) by the poet Ali Suwaidan, where love filled his heart and became a prisoner of love, the dwelling of the mind and the king of the soul.

The poet Muhammad Salman, with his poem (Doves of Peace), regretted leaving the bathroom shelf in Damascus, bidding farewell to Barada while he was roaming in flocks in Al-Fayhaa, away from the land of peace after terror frightened him.

The poet Ali Mihoub recalled with his poem “We” the childhood and childhood days and stories of dreams stolen by the war. The poet Musa Maarouf saluted with his poem “Stand for the Martyr” the martyrs who narrated with their pure blood the land of Syria to remain dear, free and impervious to invaders and aggressors.

Poet Medien Rahal dedicated his poem (Lament) to the soul of the people's artist Rafiq Subai'i and likened it to a tree whose leaves do not yellow and a wide spectrum of colors with its giving and its rich artistic career, which he left as if it were pearls, sapphires and coral.

The poet Mahfoud Mahfoud directed his poem (I and the Moon) to the soul of his martyr son and the souls of the righteous martyrs of Syria, describing them as moons whose lights shine to illuminate the darkness of our lonely nights.

The meeting concluded with the poet Hayat Anaid with a poem (The Waterers of Misery is Strange) addressing the sweetness of her liver in the lands of expatriation, inviting him to return to spread warmth on cold nights and extinguish the fire of longing that was lit in its ribs.
