A woman is slightly injured in an accident at Frankfurt Airport.
She breaks through a fence at the airport with her car.
Frankfurt – In an accident at Frankfurt Airport, a woman lost control of her car.
She broke through a fence around the airport and crashed into a vehicle parked there, police said.
What happened?
The 78-year-old woman wanted to turn right on Saturday afternoon (July 2) at the Airportring / Taxistraße / Hugo-Eckener-Ring intersection with her Land Rover onto the Airportring in the direction of Mörfelden-Walldorf.
She probably mixed up the pedals and therefore came off the road, the police suspected, as reported by fnp.de.
An accident occurred near Frankfurt Airport.

She first drove over the green lane separation and broke through a fence of the airport site on the opposite side with her car.
She finally came to a stop at a VW Multivan parked there.
The accident at Frankfurt Airport caused considerable damage.
The police estimate that it should be in the five-digit range.
The Land Rover was towed away.
