Thunderstorms once again caused damage in France on Sunday.
If they are on a smaller scale and their extent is smaller than what has sometimes happened since the end of spring, the departments of Loire and Haute-Loire have been particularly concerned.
Once again it was the hail that caused the most significant damage.
Damaged cars, affected furniture and roofs, partly lost crops: the images have been repeated in recent weeks.

The weather channel explains that some flooding also took place "around Saint-Etienne" (Loire).
Accidents have also occurred âon the A47 motorway from Saint-Etienne towards Givors (RhĂŽne)â.
According to Le ProgrĂšs, the Gier valley was particularly affected.
In addition to cars, roofs and garden furniture, fruit trees were damaged.
The cattle were brought to shelter in time.
Farmers fear seeing damage to their crops on Monday.
"Last day of storms in the south of the country"
This Monday, new thunderstorms are expected over a wide band from the southwest to the east of France.
Météo France places this part of the country on yellow alert (level 2 out of 4).
The meteorological organization evokes âhigh rainfall intensities as well as hail and strong gusts of wind in the Auvergne-RhĂŽne-Alpes region in particular.
In addition, the storm cells can sink further south than the day before towards the lower RhĂŽne valley and the Southern Alpsâ.

In the Alpine regions, Keraunos, the French observatory for tornadoes and violent thunderstorms, evokes a risk of "supercells", that is to say massive storms with violent phenomena.
It warns against a risk of hail with a diameter greater than 2cm.
Keraunos specifies that this is the âlast day of storms in the south of the country before a clear lull on the hail frontâ.
