On Sunday evening, a suspect arrived in Karkur and tried to put a minor resident of Pardes Hanna in the car, while performing sports activities. • The suspect, who did not succeed in his actions, escaped.

Police last Sunday opened an investigation into an attempted abduction of a 16-year-old girl, the background in fact apparently criminal rather than nationalist.

According to a report received at the police station on Sunday evening, an anonymous suspect tried to force a minor resident of Pardes Hanna into the trunk of his vehicle while engaging in sports activities, the fugitive suspect was unable to do so.

According to the police statement, the police officers who were called to the scene met a girl who did not need medical treatment and began extensive searches to locate the suspect who fled the scene along with operations to gather evidence and findings from the scene.

The investigation into the matter continues, with the police saying that the background is in fact probably criminal.

The girl testified to police: "I was doing sports in the evening. Suddenly a man with an Eastern European accent approached me. He grabbed me and tried to put me in the trunk of the vehicle, which was open. I shouted for help and people in the area approached the vehicle. He saw them approaching, left. "I got in the car and ran away. I did not recognize the vehicle number, I'm not sure he had license plates. I do not know this person. I have never seen him before."
