A 17-year-old boy, a resident of the village of Jadida Makr, was killed last night (Tuesday) in an accident during a police chase in Majd al-Krum.

The MDA team that arrived at the scene provided him with medical treatment and performed resuscitation operations while evacuating him to the Galilee Hospital in Nahariya, but his death was determined on the way. A 30-year-old man was also moderately injured

The police started chasing the suspects, and opened fire at them.

As a result of the shooting, the scooter on which the two were riding slipped on the road, and one of the passengers, the 17-year-old boy, was fatally injured.

Later in the night his death was determined.
